Chef Ray Cooks!

I want to start by saying don't let your fears own you - With that being said, here I am world! Sometimes in life you have to take the good with the bad and keep it moving. One thing we should all know dealing with the daily issues that life brings is that SHIT HAPPENS.

My first love is, and will always be, cooking. I first learned the joys of cooking and
healthy eating at the tender age of 8 in my grandmother’s kitchen, where I was
responsible for cooking family meals. This passion stayed with me into adulthood and has enabled me to be where I am today. Having worked in a variety of restaurants - from casual spots like Waffle House to upscale establishments such as B. Smith's - time spent in the field matched with training at L'Academie de Cuisine is where my skillset was honed. Beyond cooking, however, I hold family first after God. Being a huge football fan please know that THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS are going to the Super Bowl every year, if you ask me. We just haven't hit our groove yet. Wait until this season though.
